@Trader. if you could state what kind of strategy you trade and how much volume, maybe that would help some of the readers. A “real” ECN will have slippage regardless of the time of day.

I’ve pushed through >800 lots for one of my clients over the last few months and the IC Markets execution has been excellent. Slippage is usually favorable as we regularly implement counter-trend entries and exits.

As Jon rightly said, you will get slippage through an ECN regardless of the time of day. The degree of which is largely dependent on how you trade and is not reflective of the broker’s underlying liquidity or execution in general. The tight spreads that we provide to clients simply mean you can execute at a great price. A strategies ability to take advantage of that pricing is something that we can’t control…

What’s exciting about the Tradable platform is how execution sensitive clients will be able to better control how they enter and exit the market. There will be app’s that act like execution algorithms, offer conditional order types, true limit orders, market ranges, you name it and someone will build it!

Our relationship with Tradable is about their innovative technology and our great pricing for the betterment of traders globally. I think we’re all very excited to see this platform in 6, 12, 24 months from now.

    Kind regards,
