EBS sees dismal volumes in April down 26% YOY

EBS part of the worlds largest inter-dealer broker ICAP has announced its trade volumes for the month of April. Daily trade volume in the worlds most liquid asset class stood at $109.7 billion for EBS.

Volumes have been choppy since the beginning of the year as market sentiment is still shaky with European government debt not taking any clear direction. The reduction in volumes could be due to the Easter break and general mood level in the city.
